Reiki
When words aren’t enough, gentle energy work can support grounding and connection.
This is a non-psychotherapy, complementary service.
Reiki
At Belle Love Integrative Therapy, Reiki is offered as a separate, non-psychotherapy service. This ensures clarity, client choice, and alignment with professional practice standards. Reiki may support relaxation, grounding, energetic awareness, and spiritual reflection, but it is not psychotherapy and is not a medical treatment.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-based practice that uses gentle, hands-on (or hands-off) techniques to encourage relaxation and balance. It is always adapted to your comfort level and offered with your consent. Reiki is not regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
Clients often describe Reiki as calming, centring, or clarifying, and many choose it to support overall well-being outside of psychotherapy.
What Is Tantra Reiki?
Tantra Reiki combines traditional Reiki practice with Tantric philosophy, fostering a mindful connection with the body, breath, and self-awareness. When requested, Tantra Reiki may include:
Energetic Awareness – exploring the body’s subtle energy
Spiritual Reflection – connecting inward through mindfulness
Chakra Exploration – tuning into traditional energy centers
Sacred Self-Connection – supporting body sovereignty, empowerment, and presence
All Reiki services are offered with clear boundaries, explicit consent, and client safety at the forefront.
No sexual contact is involved in any session.

Within Psychotherapy?
If you are receiving psychotherapy and wish to include Reiki as part of the process, it may be offered within a 75-minute psychotherapy session as a short ancillary activity (5-10 minutes) or as a combined service (25 minutes or 50 minutes, billed separately), always with informed consent.
In such cases, Reiki remains clearly documented as part of psychotherapy and is subject to CRPO standards of documentation and supervision.
Booking Reiki as a
Standalone Service
Reiki is available even if you are not engaged in psychotherapy. You may choose between:
25-minute Reiki sessions are commonly added to the end of a 50-minute psychotherapy session to allow somatic processing of the cognitive work
50-minute Reiki sessions are the most popular option for both psychotherapy clients and non-psychotherapy clients
75-minute Reiki sessions offer more time for grounding, chakra-focused awareness, or deeper integration
Standalone Reiki sessions are wellness-oriented and experiential. They support emotional and energetic well-being but are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace psychotherapy or medical care.
