Individual Therapy
Come as you are.
Together, we’ll explore your inner world and co-create a path forward that honours your truth, healing, and growth.
About Individual Therapy
My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic, person-centred values, including empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.
Sessions may be non-directive and client-led, allowing space for open exploration. When appropriate, the work may become more structured and goal-focused by drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic, mindfulness-based practices that support emotional regulation, grounding, and integration.
My approach also incorporates experiential, existential, narrative, and Jungian (shadow work) perspectives, inviting an exploration of meaning, identity, and the parts of the self that are often hidden, silenced, or unacknowledged. These modalities work together to deepen awareness, strengthen self-trust, and create lasting internal change.
50-Minute or 75-Minute Session Formats
You may choose between two formats depending on your needs.
50-Minute Psychotherapy Sessions
A focused container for consistent, talk-based reflection and emotional processing. Think of this as the more traditional psychotherapy structure, where both the therapist and client remain seated, engaging in conversation to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns through dialogue and reflection.
75-Minute Psychotherapy Sessions
(with Optional Somatic Integration)
A longer format that creates time to slow down, explore more fully, and connect the body with the mind. These sessions often include:
Time for talk-based psychotherapy to begin, opening space for emotional expression and insight
Mindfulness-based practices such as grounding or breathwork
Reiki as a body-awareness intervention, when requested and consented to
Closing reflection to integrate sensations and insights into your larger goals
Important: When Reiki or any body-based practice is incorporated into a psychotherapy session, it is introduced only with the informed consent of the client. It is clearly documented as part of the therapeutic process and remains within the standards of the CRPO as a form of psychotherapy.
